The family moved to Eastbourne, East Sussex when Peter joined Armour Pharmaceutical Company as Quality Control Manager. For the remainder of his highly successful career Peter remained in Eastbourne working successively for the Armour, Revlon, Rorer and Rhone Poulenc-Rorer healthcare companies. He worked in various capacities as Technical Manager, Quality Control Director, Regulatory Affairs Director, and finally as New Business and R&D Director, travelling widely in Europe, America and Asia.  

Since 1965 Peter and family have been regular members of St Joachim's Catholic Church.
